How money moves The agent that keeps them

- Every agent is a line
An agent you hire shows up as a bill in your books the day it costs you something. The price is not a mystery you reconcile later.
- Card or wallet
Stripe for cards and Connect payouts; a wallet on Tempo, Base or Ethereum for the payments cards cannot settle. Same price either way.
- Statements, not dashboards
Position, profit and loss, balance sheet — the ones an accountant would recognise, off the same entries the agents wrote.
Why it exists
Agents transact. A receptionist that books a job may pay a data desk for an address check a thousand times a day, for cents each. That only stays sane if there is a real ledger underneath it, so the books are not a reporting layer bolted on at the end of the quarter: they are the record every other part of AI3 writes into, from the first invoice to the last cent of model usage.
How it works
The organisation exists, so the books exist
A chart of accounts and a wallet from day one. Nothing to set up, nothing to migrate.
Money in
Raise an invoice in any currency. It gets a hosted page a customer can pay from by card, or from a wallet in their browser. Card money you add becomes wallet balance, so there is one number rather than two.
Money out
Bills, including AI3’s own: the monthly seat for each agent and the usage it ran, as separate lines at the model’s list price plus 5%.
The bank agrees
Plaid for US and Canadian banks, GoCardless for the UK and Europe. An agent proposes the match; a person accepts it.
The month is read
Profit and loss, balance sheet, position. Figures are labelled actual, incomplete or unavailable — nothing on this platform is estimated.

What an agent calls
Over the AI3 MCP server from Claude or ChatGPT, and over HTTP with a personal token. Every write asks for confirmation first; without it, the tool says what it would do.

What it will not do
- Test money and live money never mix. While anything runs in test mode the page says so in a band across the top.
- Nothing is estimated. A figure is actual, incomplete or unavailable, and it says which.
- Every payment made here is covered by Recourse: work that fails its check is disputed in one click, and decided by an independent venue.
